Somali Women Solidarity organization SWSO, with its partner, GIZ has set up a poultry farm at the new settlement of Midnimo in Kismayo. The beneficiaries consisted of fifty women selected from the internally displaced people and returnees in Kismayo. The aim of the implementing this poultry farm was for the community to have an income generating activities and provide food security. The beneficiaries were trained on poultry management and caring.
