The Somali Women Solidarity Organization (SWSO) has concluded a two-day awareness forum in Kismayo focused on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and strengthening social cohesion among communities living in the area.

The event brought together youth, women, and IDP community members residing in Kismayo. Notably, six peace activists—comprising both young men and women—played an important role in leading awareness sessions and engaging participants throughout the program.

The forum was organized by SWSO in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and concluded in a calm and encouraging atmosphere.

Peace is a gentle treasure we must all nurture. ✍️

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to all community members who participated over the past two days. I hope that each of us will begin promoting peace within our own homes and continue spreading it to our neighbors.https://www.facebook.com/share/1CndTLeVVP/
